ACOUSTICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA (ASON)

The above-named society has been formed. Generally, acoustics has to do with the generation, transmission and perception of sound. The effect of sound on the recipients (particularly in a room or hall) fall under acoustics.

WHO CAN JOIN?

1. Scholars in all fields that deal with acoustics - speech, music, auditory studies, computational studies, animal studies, environmental studies, physics, psychology, marine studies, engineering, building/architecture etc.
2. Interested members of the public who are concerned about sound transmission, noise and vibration problems in our communities.
